Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Preschool Aide to join our team, supporting daily activities of the children for the day. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childhood development and education, with experience in literacy education, behavior management, and working with students of various needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing educational programs and activities
- Support students in their learning and development
- Help manage student behavior and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience
- Contribute to curriculum development and lesson planning
- Provide support for students with special needs, including autism
- Assist in daycare operations and early childhood education activities (Helping with a few diapers, cooking and cleaning)
Requirements:
- Preferred some experience working with children in an educational setting (Some experience as a nanny is also welcome)
- A high school degree is a MUST
- Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Previous experience in childcare, special education, or related fields is a plus
